The last brewery in Augusta, Georgia went down during prohibition and never came back. That’s a mighty long time for the citizens of The Garden City to not have their own brew. Well, the wait is over. River Watch is here.

At the River Watch Brewery, we have three core brews, in addition to limited releases and experimental brews. We hope you come in and try all of what we have to offer and give us your opinions on the experimental brews. Let us know what you want to drink! We’d love to create your next favorite beer.

Available in Fall 2019.
Our fall seasonal is an American Brown Ale. Chocolate and toffee aroma and flavor, with a nice silky finish. Perfect beer for the changing weather.
There has been an incredible amount of work put into transforming an old warehouse on the Farmers Market into a small production brewery. Almost the entire interior has changed. From installing a heavy duty floor in the brew house and cellar, putting up interior walls, installing new plumbing and electrical lines, installing a boiler and steam lines to heat the brew house, installing a chiller and glycol lines to keep the fermentors at the proper temperature, to installing CO2 lines to carbonate the beer – this place has definitely had its share of our blood, sweat and tears. We contracted out for the construction, but have done a fair amount of work ourselves, too.
